Newbie on board need help, new car purchase!
yo my boy just bought a 93 rx7 and would like to know if you guys have any suggestions on a first things first type tune up. We dont know much about the car except that the fuel pump that was installed was a cheap one from pep boys and is causing the car to kinda jerk when you want to get on it, it is twin turbo and has a blitz blow off cant tell if anything else performance wise is on it but would like to know what we should have first on our list of things to do on this car. thanks in advance
Check your AST tank, replace it if its stock, or get an elimination kit...other than that, replace that shitty fuel pump, and look into gettin a better rad/intercooler. Have fun!
First I would change the fuel pump. I would suggest the Walbro fuel pump. You can get them new on ebay for about $85 or at rx7store.net for a few bucks more. As far as aftermarket upgrades, I would get the FD flowing better with a new catback and a intake. There are many brands to choose from so shop around for the best prices. Like I said, eaby, rx7store.net, and check this forum for used stuff.

I noticed that you were from Vegas. I'll be going back there in May sometime, so if you want to get together for a day, I'll give you a bunch of insight about how to care for your car. Also, which RX7 did you buy from there because when I was home last, I looked at the ones for sale in the area and from what I saw most of them needed a lot of work. If you are interested, shoot me a pm sometime and I'll keep in touch.
