The front looks awsome! Car looks great, but the rear end has to go. Doesn't really show us the kind of power that lurks within though. And it doesn't give us a good idea of the sound either. I want a better movie!

The reason they're not showing much, is because they want you to buy the Option2 video Vol.? when ever it comes out.

I was under the impression that they don't make Option2 video anymore. Am I wrong? I see Option Video and its repetitive coverage of D1 and Drift Tengoku but no more new Option2 videos. I can't even find a website, otherwise, I'd be first in line to buy this video with the Scoot car.

There is another movie on here somewhere4 that shows the car with the whole front end off of it. It shows them starting the engine and revving it up a few times. It looks like it has a carbon fiber intake manifold. It also shows how much power it has as it twists so much with every rev. I have the movie but I don't know exactly where it is on the forum. I'll look for it later unless someone beats me to it.

i dunno... i just don't think it really looks like a 7 anymore... looks more like the new Honda "NSX" concept (i can't remember what it was actually called) than the FD i've drooled over for so many years. my opinion, i'd MUCH rather have a 20B putting out 650 with a full CF RE-Amemiya widebody GT kit... now that would be a damn nice car.

The vid is alright. It needs better lighting and more shots of the car. The car isn't my taste though.

I'm not impressed at all.. you can make a vid of a golf driving around like that as well. Show some performance or stop wasting space with vids.

LOL! I love how people can be so crabby on this site even if it's a 4 rotor NA FD that we're talking about. Fact is, there's probably a handful of people that have completed a custom 4 rotor car in the world and people can still find something to gripe about like the quality of the vid. The glass is always half empty I guess for some people.

not that anyone cares, but my friend and I are currently in the process of building a 4 rotor. Instead of using 12a's we are using 13b. I know many people arent going to believe me but we have the crank nearly done on cad. We have moderate experience with rotaries but substancal work with doing stuff different. We put a 350 in a mazda rx-7. I know this is rare and rather wrong. Thus why we plan on redeeming ourself by the 4 rotor. We recently purcashed another second gen.

if anyone cares

Unless you're doing so for the 'journey/experience', you would complete your project sooner by using custom 3 or 4 rotor e-shafts that a shop in New Zealand makes (which uses 13B housings/etc). The name/contact info escapes me at the moment, but you could dig around or ask in the 20B forum on this site.

I realize this. The car itself needs work. I got a deal i couldnt pass up. I also figured that if i was going to put a V-8 in one, I couldnt pull myself to do it to a really nice one. I enjoy projects. I think i may want to throw the 4 rotor in a FD. I dont see many Fd without engines that arent totalled. What would be a decent price for just a shell. It can be bone stock. I dont need anything done to it!

the car was prolly made to show off new products, and show what scoot can do with a car (like making a whole new rear end). i love the car my self, it is not a rx7 in my book but a whole new car.
