New toys...Volk GTS rims and Racing Beat Dual Tip Exhaust!

How's it going everyone. Just wanted to share my early "self-Christmas gifts" this year, LoL. Just got my order in throughout this past week. I had been gawking at these Volk wheels ever since they were released this past fall 2006 and finally got a chance to pick them up. For now, I will have to find time and hope to have everything installed and done within a week or two...anyhow, here's what I picked up with pics:

• Volk Racing GTS Diamond Gloss Black ***Special Order*** (18x9 +40 / 18x10 +43) (about 20 lbs each)
• Volk Racing GTS Carbon Fiber Center Caps (High Type)
• Rays Engineering Locks/Lugnuts
• Pirelli PZERO NERO M+S Tires (235/40/18 / 265/35/18)
• Racing Beat Dual Tip Catback Exhaust

Thanks to the following that provided my order...I highly recommend them if you're in the market. Got everything in in about week and half: www.TireRack.com, www.VulcanTires.com, www.PettitRacing.com, and www.VividRacing.com (When ordering from VividRacing.com...ask for Jon Guerra @ 480.966.3040 / EXT. 230. Awesome to work with!)

My purchases was inspired mainly by this Porsche Cayman's color scheme...yellow w/ black wheels: http://www.caymanclub.net/gallery/fi...anSpics010.jpg

^ Thanks guys. Yah...feels like Christmas for sure. Also, while at my lunchbreak knowing shipments were coming, my co-workers at work (where I had it shipped) were messing around and hid the shipments around the office. When I got back in from lunch, I checked my my tracking number and it said "Delivered." Hah. They were trying to play it off.

Yah, past couple years I've been putting the usual money towards replacing and upkeep. Finally, I'm at a comfortable stage with everything so I wanted to do a treat like this. I got the racing beat from Jeff @ Pettit Racing.

Sweet! It's going to be a sexy party Borat style in your garage once all these goodies get on the car. You should get the exhaust on ASAP, haha, but let me know if you still need help; it won't take long.

Don't forget to get that alignment but hopefully the shop can handle it. I know Big 10 by my house can't handle aftermarket wheels and lowered so I had to go to Firestone by the mall. Oh, you going to want somebody to drive your truck so you can take the OEM wheels home since I doubt they will fit the FD. Let me know if you need help.

Congrads again!

pics aren't working for me, so i can't comment and anything but the tires... i have those same tires on my STi, and had them on my WRX before i got the STi. they're very predictable when pushed, and great all-season tires. they hold up great to abuse, too. i've had them in auto-x, drag racing, city driving, and three trips cross country. they're champs.
