new times after Kan tune, 1/4mile

my previous best was 12.2 @ 116mph. this is with a 2.0 60'time. i usually would get these times consistantly trapping 115-116mph.

Only thing i changed on the car was twin power and Kan tune.

My runs were very poor. this was my first time at this track. it had a pro tree, also a first. i have toyo t1-s tires.

My first run i went 12.300 @ 108mph. i hit the breaks way before the finish...lol.i would have been 11s. i didnt know where it ended. anyways that was my only run with a decent 60' time of 2.0. the following run i almost stalled offf the line and went 12.5 @ 118mph (fastest mph yet, 2 mph gain). third run i literally was vertical and almost hit the side. i ended up just going slow rest of way cause i was scared shitless. last run i went 12,5 again at 118mph- again almost stalling off the line. Not sure why i sucked this night. I usually can cut 2,0 sixty foot times every time. Besides the first run my sixty foot times were horrid. like 2.4's . i kept almost stalling.

Bogging off the line sucks cause it takes so long to get going. The car is a friggen beast. I am confident in saying that i could trap 120mph and get mid 11s. I will go back to etown soon ang get some good runs in.

mods are all the boltons with Kan tune. Stock motor and turbos. Anyone know what fastest mph is on stock twins and stock turbos?

It is the amount of time it takes you to go 60 feet. Usually you can judge how good you launch was by this time.

Have you had enough seat-time and trials to find out what your best RPM range is to launch at? Given your tires and powerband?

Between taunts from others at street lights and impressing others in the passenger seat I am slowly mastering where to launch my car with no wheelspin but no bog'ing either.

Then it'll be a whole new ball game if I ever took it to the strip with Victo's on :P

Well, is your car still stock as a rock? maybe if you make some real power you will be more inclined to keep the proper engine in the car
