New to Single turbo installation
I researched on single turbo installation. By reading, there are 6 sensors that I need to delete from the stock wiring. By the way, I'm using Apexi PowerFc 1993 RX-7.
It says "remove", shall I cut the wire or just unplug & leave it there hanging?
IAC-PURGE CONTROL - AIR PUMP - WASTEGATE & TURBO PRE CONTROL -AVC - AWS
Thanks

You don't "need" to remove anything, that's just if you want to simplify things.
Learn what the systems do, then you can decide if you need them for your car.
The only things that really aren't *needed* when going single turbo is the twin turbo controls. But, you can leave them there plugged in and they'll be just happy, they just won't be doing anything.
The airpump you most likely will need to remove since it's in the way of most single turbo setups.
Sounds like you need to do a LOT more reading. Going single turbo is a BIG job to do it right and it's quite complicated. If you're modifying things that you don't understand, you may be setting yourself up for trouble.

Thanks Dale -- all the rat nest are gone---I read a few and so far I'm following the procedure little by little. I hope to crank and test the car and see if my PowerFc will respond.
So, it should be plug and play - then map the system?

everything is plug and play till the tune. You will need to get the car started and set your FPR if you have modified your fuel systems FPR. I hope you increased your injectors for the added air if you are putting on a turbo that can output more than the stock turbo's.

You are going to need to tune the car before driving it. Are you planning on tuning the car yourself? or having someone else tune it?

I'm in the point where I need to install the powerfc and crank it...see if i get some pulse & spark. If it runs...I'm on the way to the dyno, if not I have to solve the problem.
