I am going to buy a 93 rx-7 in about 3 weeks. I need to know what kind of tests/checkups are necessary to make sure the car is in good, running condition. Also, do you guys recommend any mechanics or shops for this task? Thanks for the help.

You arent very specific when you put your location since there is 2 Glendale's in just California alone, but if you are in central or northern california I'd recommend Rick's Rotary Performance http://www.ricksrotaryperformance.com

Its in the bay area in Dublin, check it out if you're anywhere near it.

TriPoint Engineering will look over the car for like $150. They seem very competent - and expensive.
