I want your tachometer.

Not a huge fan of the cups, sorry to say. I like the molded 2 cup pod, although I'm thinking of upgrading to a 3 cup one. This is the one I have (except mine is textured ) and like, just cleaner and smoother IMO.

I like it. As much as I think the other guage pods look good, I don't want to give up the center speaker. It sounds much better with it than without it. Nice find Jason!

Thumbs up

I like it. It's perfect for me since I have the Defi BF series gauges that only come in 60mm. I had the Tripower piece but it only held 52's. Also good that I could keep the speaker if I had it. Nice that the gauges can face up to the driver very nicely- in the Tripower they tend to face downward somewhat. I say thumbs up!

It's been a while since I've posted, but I feel obligated to share my 2cents....this product is "HOT HOT HOT"!! I met the owner of the company as SEMA and he gave me some eye candy.....the prototype of this product. Although he wouldn't sell it to me no matter how much I tried.

IMHO, this is the best pod out there. The prototype wasn't complete, but I think it is definitely going to match the interior of the car! Maybe these pics don't do it justice, but if you've seen their other products, you'll know these guys make serious stuff!!! All their stuff looks OE.

This product actually tilts AND swivels so if you want, it can be pushed closer together (which I would do just a bit) and you can turn them to face left/right/up/down or whatever depending on how tall, short, left, or stupid you are....haha. That's something you can't do with any other pod....maybe that's why these guys have a design patent on this.

Oh yes...if you read (which most FD owners do), you'll see these guys have gotten lots of good PR. They're a pretty new company but they're making a statement for sure....they're MINI rocks!! (Although it's no FD...it's putting out 300 rwhp and supposedly will be featured in an upcoming Road & Track. Gotta respect that mon).

One more thing, these things hold ALL size gauges without having to buy anything. Kudos to them!!

Jason....good announcement. I'm looking foward to getting one of these.

THUMBS UP!!!

Ok enough about this.

Actually, I believe all their products are injection molded....that's different from A-pillar stuff which is vacuum molded. I'm an engineer myself so I appreciate these details. Injection molding allows much more accuracy and consistency (that's why the price differenc). This company also injects UV protection in their products things don't "melt" or "sag" if you know what I mean.

Cheerio...

I haven't heard anyone argue that it wasn't built well. Unfortunately it's a well built monstrosity Ugly with a capital "UG".

I just think they look ghetto, it's
kinda like using the brackets that
come with autometer guages. Just
brackets screwed to the dash.

YUCK!

btw i don't want to make a new thread about this next topic... sooo here goes, i heard some people mention that SOME mechanical gauges are unsafe because they allow engine fluids to enter the cabin?? are the unsafe ones the oil and fuel pressure gauges? i don't see how mechanical temperature gauges would allow fluids into the cabin, the senders aren't connected via hoses... its a wire yes i searched im just bad at it
