New Plug, New Wires, now fast idle
Has anyone changed their plugs and wires and come up with a fast idle? I don't think I screwed up any electical wires or vac hoses, but now my idle is 1400 rpm. I removed the TB, and etc(whatever to remove the plug and wires from above) and don't think I changed the throttle cables. The plugs looked like they had 20 K or so, the eletrrodes where small(withered)). This is a new car for me. The wires were stock and shot with rust in one where it joined the plug. I am hoping for an easy fix but it will at least take screwing around with the solenoid since the lockn nut and screw didn't work. Either the solenoid needs screwed in or out or what ever controls the solenoid plunger needs ajdustment.
Has anyone seen this before?

I used the old metal one that looked to be in good shape, but I didn't pay that much attention to examining it or perhaps cleaning all the surfaces.
Where exactly is the air screw?
It seems that the little white soleniod plunger is holding the throttle open and adjusting the whole solenoid body would help, unless something made the plunger go out more after the adust.
But turning an air screw seems easier.

Is it 1500 RPM all the time? The idle should be at 1500 RPM when the motor is cold then slowly come down to 750 RPM as the car warms up.
Make sure the throttle cable isn't on too tight - that's an easy way to get a high idle.
