Just took these last week. The R1 is never finished, though...was at Steve Kan's place this last weekend and put on rear x-drilled slotted rotors to match the front. I also have a Jacobs rotary pro pack sitting in the garage waiting to be installed
This is the view that the V8s around here get to see most of the time, btw
Let me know what you guys think...

hibbedy...
The Profec B doesn't obscure the tac--just the 0 at the left and 9 at the right. And the shift **** is a Mazdaspeed carbon fiber. It screws right on to the stock shifter, unlike the universal types. Makes for very positive shifts. I have been thinking about cutting the shifter down by an inch or two to lower it.

What's funny is that officers are supposed to get paid so much, but as an O-2 over 3 yrs, the car is still making me eat Top Ramen every meal

I love the '99 spec lip. Sharp eyes--those calipers are indeed polished. When my original motor failed due to coolant seals, I devised a few projects while dave was working on my motor out in PA. In addition to the calipers, I peeled the stock film off the console around the shifter to expose that shiny surface shown in the 3rd pic, and also took the time to clean my empty engine bay.

What harm could come of having the plates up on the net? Maybe I'm being naive.

?The Efini script can go wherever the hell the owner wants

In my case, I placed it where it is b/c the original "rx7" script when removed had left 2 blemishes in the paint. I used the new "rx7" script to cover the 3 holes left by the Mazda script and used the square efini script to cover the 2 blemishes. Pretty ingenious, huh
