New Odometer affect trade in value?
New Odometer affect trade in value?
So I have a 1994 MB with ABOUT 60k original miles. I have pics of it at 57k and it has been driven as daily drive to work and back, and thats it. I have a pretty good guess of what the milage is, but how much would this affect the trade in value? If I do by another and have it installed, is there any way to get it certified? Or am I just pretty much out of luck on this problem? Thanks for the repies in advance. And if you are interested, the car is still for sale. I have going to get an estimate on it next week sometime. I am buying a Toyota Yaris sedan
Low maintenance and great gas milage!

Supposedly, a Mazda dealer can also set a new odometer to match the original numbers.
Boy, there's a 180 going from an FD to a Yaris.
Anyway, in PA you can literallly take the old cluster to a shop with the new cluster and they'll roll it forward to match. Bring any paperwork/evidence you have to indicate the correct mileage. The DMV doesn't need any documentation or special stickers. Check the laws in your state - there is usually a provision to make it possible for you to correct it without screwing up the value of the car.

i have the question that i also want to ask since this topic is related to mine.
is it possible to change the record on the DMV for the odometer? cause on the record, it say the miles is incorrect ( not acctual miles or roll back ..on the carfax). is there any way that i can change the record in the DMV??? and is there a way that i can find the excactly miles the car actually have ?
