New Mustangs><(just GT models)

I dont know whats the case, they cost a decent amount of change, but I've gone against 3 of them, they ALL were behind me like they were standing still, after I took off they were slow as all hell(how can a v8 be that slow?) I know we were racing each time because we both launched obviously. Anyone else have any experience with some stoplight wars with these guys?(I dont think I could take the new gt500 tho).

my upgrades are as follows:

~hks rs intake
~hks superdrager exhaust(sounds great)
~downpipe
~hose job
~act clutch
~koyo radiator
~hks twin power(it did crazy wonders for my high end, and I hear it does more and more per upgrade).
~aluminum ast
~Larger ground wires
~new fuel injectors

I still havent driven a car that handles as well as this beast. I'm not much more hp than stock I dont think, probably around 260-270? at the flywheel. I bought this car as a restoration project, spent huge bucks in the past year and a half fixing it.
Also could somone tell me around how much HP I might be running with the minor setup I have?

Stock boost and stock ecu and fuel system? Maybe 240-260rwhp.. Check the kill section of the forum i'm sure someone has run against the newer mustangs. I've run them when my FD was stock they have no chance unless its a cobra..

They weigh like 17,000 pounds. Definitely hurts them from a dig.

the new shelby convert. weighs like 4000 and 0-60 in 4.5 sec, so whenever they make a coupe the numbers should be lower

Bone stock it also takes a miracle to get a good launch out of the 05, they're real mushy stock and geared relatively tall, a few mods can make them pretty mean, but it takes work. We have one here with a full exhaust, watts link instead of a panhard bar, all new bushings and a TKO trans that is pretty rockin, but stock it was so so. They sound great though from the factory, I'll give them that.
