Hi guys and gals. I'm a new member and I just really like the shape of the rx7's. they look sweet, unfortunately i have no clue whatsoever about these beauties. I will definately learn a lot from you guys.
Just would like to find out, do rx7's have any traction problems? I have never heard any rx7 owners complain about having any traction problems, this i believe is due to their perfectional weight distribution?
Later guys and gals,

Hi and welcome. I recomend that you do a search of previous posts with your concerns. Many people who are new to the Rx-7 have the same questions. You can find most of your answers and save a lot of time this way. Welcome again, and enjoy your stay.

Hey,
Welcome...I am also fairly new signing up a few months ago but I have problably spent more time here reading and learning than people that have known about this site for years. I have now found a car and will hopefully purchase it any time now if it all works out
1993 vintage red touring 5 speed tan interior
Like the first guy said try to search a lot or just come to the forum and read the new posts a lot and you will learn everything
The 3d generation rx7 93-95 does have a lot of problems with traction
The car is lite in weight to begin with and the back end hardly weighs anything so it is hard to keep it planted. It is especially hard and dangerous in the rain or snow.
Also many people rev the motor to around 3000 rpms in first gear and then drop or quickly engage the clutch to get the the first turbo spooled up and when they do this they have a hard time getting traction and it almost always involves wheel hop in the FD (3d gen rx7)
good luck
Cant wait to get my car!!
