NEW FUEL system for the FD3S **CJ motorsports**

Some pictures of my new fuel system that is going on my car next week. This new fuel system is made from a well respected forum member and is the highest quality ive seen out of anyone on this forum. As far as i know im going to be the second one running this fuel system ever. It was built brandon of CJ motorsports and they do awesome work for 350Z's. but since brandon (oorx7) has a FD he built his own and is ready to start supplying customers. I use to run a kgparts rail and i wasnt too happy with it. This kit is ROCK solid on my block and i assure you there will be no leaks . Instead of SS lines the lines are nylon with push lock AN fittings. The rails run in parallel and you can see how the feed for the primary rail comes off the secondary rail. Also you can still run the factory fuel temp sensor!!! The kit consist of everything to bolt down to your RX-7. The rails are top feed of course and i will be using 550cc and 1600cc injectors. This is great engineering and HIS car runs FLAWLESS with this setup. Im sure hell post pictures of his when he reads this thread . If you are interested in getting one of there setup's PM oorx7 on the forum, he wont steer you wrong . Anyways on to the pictures.

he can set it up for any injectors and this fully CNC'd out of 60-63 billet aluminum. Not using one of those "y" blocks is also a plus with the kit. Its a nice fit in a very nice package!! By far the best quality ive soon and awesome customer service! Kits will prolly range around the Kg parts prices but maybe a lil more because it uses better material. Its beautiful.

That's ****! I like how it's using the Pro-Lite hose. Would it be possible to have all four injectors set up on the secondary rail to use with an Xcessive LIM?

What was wrong with the KG Parts system? We have installed at least 50 and never had an issue with them. No need for a fuel temp sensor.

IMO the KG parts rails fits OK, i hate stainless steel lines and i dont want to use a y block to distribute fuel to the primary and secondary rail. From my experiance this Kit is much better. like i said PM oorx7 (brandon) on the forum his prices are around the same as kg parts prices maybe a little more since it uses better material.

I'll say that seeing brandons craftsmanship on the custom work he does on his 3rd gen in person is top notch. He's a great guy...I'm in the market for a fuel system and now I found where Im buying from.

I've seen some of Brandon's parts, both pre and post production (he was kind enough to take me on a behind-the-scenes tour of his production facility). Awesome stuff (and great guy too). So I'm not in the least bit surprised you're so happy w/ his parts. Great job Brandon!

We will have pricing on the whole kit by this weekend. I am waiting on a quote from RC engineering for different injectors. We have everything quoted otherwise. This kit will include all components for a bolt on style kit. Even a bracket to mount the regulator to. The kit will also be sold with viton o-rings, stainless steel hardware, and detailed instructions. There has been quite a lot of development into this kit. This will be for a person who wants to just buy a kit and not have to figure out placement or measure up anything. We will be offering a rails only kit for a DIY person, just not initially.

Thanks for the interest,
Brandon

Of course, but I dont have a Xcessive LIM to measure up. I could also sell plugs for the primary location that wont be used also.

Fuel temperature sensor is pretty pointless in my opinion. Nice kit, something different. I've never had an issue with the KG system either.

Actually, The PFC can make adjustments with it. (Fuel temp sensor) I don't think any other ECU can make changes though. That's why it will be an option in the kit. You could use this space for a couple other things, like to drill and tap it for an out put to additional injectors, or an in car fuel pressure sensor.

I would like to say that I am not bashing anything about the KG parts kit. That was the original posters experience with it, not mine. I would just like to offer a different avenue for people and add to our product line.

Looks like we will be offering it with out injectors first.

This kit will include every thing for a complete install, minus injectors and resistors.

All fuel lines
All AN fittings
Aeromotive fuel regulator
Fuel pressure gauge
Regulator bracket to mount to LIM
Anodized Primary fuel rail
Anodized Secondary fuel rail with built in Y for a parallel setup
O-ring sealed, injector adapters (these go in the LIM and Motor to adapt from side feed to top feed)
All hardware will be stainless steel.

All this for mid to high $700's +$30 for temp sensor option.

We will be offering injectors and clips, along with resistors if needed in the future. We just don't have a vendor to offer these at better price's than you can find your self

We are currently updating our web site, and will have picks up in a few days.

We rented a Ford Focus the other day and took it to the city. No complaints, it worked flawlessly!

But I think I would rather drive a FD.

Every thing in his top of the line, fully assembled kit, Minus injectors. Right now he is selling his kit with injectors for $1150-$1050.

I also don't know if he supplies a bracket to mount the pressure regulator to. I do and it will be anodized like the rails, rail spacers, and injector spacers.

I am sure his system does not come with enough fittings to run in a parallel configuration. Mine can only be run in this way.

I also don't know if he supplies the injector spacers, I know his are not made like mine. I have an O-ring seal around the outside of mine. This makes for a good seal with out using any kind of RTV or Larger fuel hose like some people use.

Our fuel rails are made from billet Aluminum, not extruded fuel rail stock. This doesn't necessarily make them better. It does take a lot more work to manufacture them. I am also not restricted to the dimensions of the fuel rail extrusion the KG parts are. Thus I can mount them differently and a little more solidly to the engine.

I also provide Nylon filament braided hose, which is lighter than stainless, and no were near as abrasive. In other words it wont wear away, what it is resting against.

Also all our hardware will be stainless steel, not sure if KG is this way or not.

Hope this helps
Brandon
