I am trying to make a point for some V8 conversion guys that want to chop up an FD. They are telling me that a new LT1 engine swap can save them 55lbs...

I think it is BS...but, I need proof..

I would say a single motor is about 200lbs. cause stock its about 240, you can remove some **** and make it lighter so about 200 is right

 

mmonaco...is that in the long block form...actually need the total weight...
