Hi guys,
My rear spoiler was leaking where it bolts to the body, basically what happened is that after 9 years the foam that covers the base of the spoiler has deteroriated.

So I went to mazda and it's not in the parts book. I talked to the guys at Mazdaformance. Is there any where that I can by 1 sided sticky closed cell foam? Closed cell so that it will repel water. 1 sided so that the other side is sticky?

So you are just looking for foam tape that sticky on one side? You can get that at the local Home Depot or ACE Hardware, maybe ecen Wal-Mart.

 

Yeah that stuff is like 1/2 inch thick and some of it is open celled. It is also just a spindle of it, I need a flat sheet.

It's not exactly the cheapest, but it'll save you time which = money. They also have a ridiculous stock and usually ship overnight. Great for items that you'd spin your wheels for days trying to find.
