i just got a second fd that i wanna work on.

body is in great shape its just the engine that needs some love.

I believe the engine itself is fine, just the stuff around it is making it run crappy.

Basically i have a crazy idle, jumps to 2200. Then when i drive i cant go over 3k or else a crazy sputter starts and car goes crazy.

Anyone have any ideas ?

 

Get a FSM. Read Section F.

Could be a lot of things and probably more than one thing: MAP sensor, TPS out of adjustment, etc. Check your engine codes.
