Arrow Need an Rx7 poster desperately

I can't find any Rx7 posters anywhere, the only ones I found were of older versions. I really need a 3rd generation Rx7 poster. This girl I really want loves rx7s, and so do I, so I thought it would be perfect. I don't want to bore you with stupid details, just givin you a background. So if anyone knows of any 3rd generation rx7 poster that exists anywhere, please help me. Thanks alot for any help.

I've looked everywhere also, online and offline, but I haven't found anything. I've even looked for 787B posters (because that would definitely suffice) but I have found nothing.

If you want a 3rd gen Rx-7 poster, take a photo with a large format camera and then print it.

The best you can do, I'm afraid, is an Rx-7 model. I believe Tamiya (or the company that has a very similar name) makes an excellent FD model. check eBay.

(Please excuse any errors, for it is Saturday night.)

Yeah, sorry bro, I haven't been able to find one either.

If you want a poster on how the rotary engine works, that's available at www.rotaryengineillustrated.com

Or you could search ebay for sevenstock posters..Or pay $46 for a bunch of stuff, including the sevenstock poster from http://store.rotarynews.com/

Other than that, I don't know of any posters...but like Splinemodel said, you could always get a model.

Yeah I know.... I have not been able to find one either... So instead I took some of the ads and framed them up. Hung them on the wall.. I think they look pretty good... Its a bad pic but you get the idea... If you cant see them just right click on them and view the image...

or yeah you can get models...

And my collection is still growing...

poster sources......

I have THE coolest poster from Car and Driver, I believe it was from late '92, it shows a red FD on a lift by an old aircraft, it unfolds to a 11 X 28....well hell, here is a pic, sorry about the glare......

you might be able to contact C&D for a back issue, they usually cost about $10 bucks, not sure how far back you can go, though....another option is to call some dealers, some of them may have some promotional items in their "attic" that might include a poster or two....I have also had pretty good luck with the so called "automobilia" places, you know the kind of stores that specialize in car stuff, like old gas pumps and signs and stuff like that, there is a place in Wichita that is really good, I'll check it out for you, if you want.

If your a bit crafty, a model company called Aoshima makes 3 different RX-7 model kits (all can be had for roughly $15 each from Japan or Hong KOng). the 3 model kits are:

Cwest FD with the headlights
MazdaSpeed GTC
Vielside Type C2

I bought all three when i was 17, and did some custom molding, heating, and filing, and made a model kit of the GTC with the light conversion, and the Mazdaspeed rims (and another one with the leftover parts with the N1 front fascia). took about 3 months to paint everything and place the decals along the door hinge, but i think it was worth it. If i can ever get a digital camera, i'll post a pic, bc kitbashing is on of my hobbies (also made a Supra and an NSX with the same method). But to suffice, here is a pic of the Cwest kit.

So if ya can't get the poster, go for the next best thing, and you can say you spent all this time making it for her. . .

I must be very lucky since I have one of the Pirelli tire add posters of the silver FD (side rear view with spoiler) on the dark green background. Has a 1993 copyright.

NOT FOR SALE!

I believe someone out of Washington Rx-7 club sells a poster of an R1 CYM. do a search on it or look up that club and email the president. He used to sell them for $20. I think I will do a search myself and try to get a hold of one.

Some people on the big list ordered posters from citibank that had an FD on it. I don't know where you would look to find another, maybe if you call citibank and ask for their promotions department or something.

I have that same poster that bajaman posted. Mine came out of a Motor Trend from late '92. Go to your local public library. See how long they keep back issues of magazines, maybe they will have some old C&D's and MT's. Not that I would encourage taking a fold out poster from the libraries magazines...

Here's a classic poster when Mazda competed in the Bridgestone Supercar Challenge.
