alright lads and ladies, am after doin a trackday at end of jan and was worrying about the sound regs for my car, i have looked and at oulton park (my local circuit) it says 105db at 3/4 throttle and due to a db readin today mine is 115.1db.............. oh dear

anyways i am looking at gettin a silenced mid pipe to quieten it down some and was wondering if i was to do this would it affect the map in my car at the minute?

my setup is single tub with straight through midpipe and blitz nurspec backbox at the min, also running power fc

also will a bung in the backbox reduce it doen by enough?? am guessin not but throught i best ask haha

a resonator, as long as it's not too restrictive, won't affect your tuning at all. i'd say most resonators, especially resonated midpipes that are sold on here, would be great for you.

yes definitely.

i have a straight pipe on my FD right now and it's painfully loud... on my FC's, though, I had multiple exhaust setups and a resonator makes a huge difference.
