I was wondering if anyone had the Mazda model number of the Bose head unit on a 1993 RX-7. I really need the number of the Bose unit as opposed to the non-Bose.

Don't have the number -- But we replaced ours with a later model Bose unit from '05. It was a double din model maybe from a 626. Anyway - same model as came in the later FDs. since it was a Bose unit, only a simple adapter and plug and play. Plus it's OEM. Got it on Ebay for like $50.

Called a Mazda parts dept and they said to look on the front of the unit that there should be a number. The tape player flap says 2264 but that cannot be a Mazda parts number. So I guess I'm still looking and hoping someone has the number.

FD04-66-9G0B is the CD player
FD04-66-9C0B is the tape player
