Question need midpipe advice

I'm switching from hi-flo cat to MP. I still have stock waste gate, but have additional BOV on the Greddy elbow to act as a last ditch attempt to catch boost spikes and to minimize back pressure on the turbos during throttle let off. For those who have MP, do you think this setup is sufficient, or should I add the ported waste gate for additional safety?

I'm usually the "better to be safe than sorry" type myself, so I'd say port the wastegate. Many people don't have boost creep issues, but some do, and it's not worth the risk IMO.

If you have a full straight threw exhaust then yes you will need to port out your waste-gates. But just remember that you will not get the same effects on every car. Some people have never ported there waste gates and they have no problem with boost spikes but on the other hand, and I would say the majority of people hear have had the problem of boost spikes. And the only way to take care of this problem is to port the waste gate. The stock waste-gate is just too small.
