Need a little wiring help
Hey guys just got my car back from the shop with its low mileage reman (Thanks to Ihor for a great running motor!) but my mechanic missed two things it looks like. The pics below there is a connector I cant find where it goes to. The other is a vacuum hose that he capped off for some reason, does it go some where also? Car runs great but the coolant buzzer is constantly on even though the temp stays normal. Does that connector have anything to do with it Im thinking? Any help would be great.

1. the plug looks like the knock sensor wire and should plug into a connector on the main harness, right under the spot where you took the pic of the plugged vac. line
2. the vac. line is hard to tell but looks like it either went to the left in the pic to the UIM. Or went right to the vac. chamber under and between the p/s pump and alt. brackets.
just look closely in that area and find an open nipple
3. you may have to remove the tb elbow, but check around under the p/s pump and see if there are any connectors that are not plugged in. There is a ground for the coolant buzzer that sometimes gets forgotten. If not, make sure the connector on the front of the w/p housing is connected firmly and that it is not broken.
none of these seem to be related, just overlooked and lazy mistakes by the mechanic

actually, now that I look at your pic a little more I can see that the disconnected wire is just the p/s pump wire and there should be a connector right behind the p/s reservoir that will match it
still not a big deal

Hey thanks for your help I got the PS pump wire hooked up. Now just have to dig through those vacuum lines a little. Yea the mechanic took his time through the job but got restless towards the end I guess.
