This is the plug that's on the tranny and it plugs into the engine harness. This plug got to be plugged around the motor/tranny area. I took the picture underneath the car under the tranny. My horn works so I don't think it's the horn.

There are only (4) connectors if I am thinking right. I just went thru my rebuild book (wow...that was a blast to the past!) where I labeled everything. Unfortunately my notes for this read "Removed wires from transmission...one is a BITCH that is along the top of the transmission."
You should have one wire harness with three plugs, one for the pulse generator, one for a speed sensor, one for an inhibitor switch. Then there is another wire running to a second 'speed sensor'.

This is a red single wire with a flat plug like the starter and oil sender plug.

Solid red wire should be the back up lights, according to the FSM.

On older FDs, there is a temperature sensor on the exhaust. If you removed your catalyzer, maybe there is no sensor location on the straight pipe. Culd it be this?

If so, there is normally no problem, just wrap the cable as it doesn't get loose...

I don't know. The FSM says that the overheat sensor should be a two wire Orange/Blue and a Black.

Only thing in that area is the BLACK/RED wire to the Starter spade terminal. Check again and report back.

Sure it isn't the backup lights? The wiring diagram shows a solid red wire on it....

More specifically this one

Then I just capture the image with print screen function and bring it into photoshop for the circle

Negative- that wire is in the dash harness ( see the D ). James needs to check the wire again, strip the loom back so it is clean and recheck the color. I am still saying the starter spade terminal.

Report back

Looks like a single female spade, could be the remote to the starter, ( my believe from the pic) or the oil press. wire, or the wire for the water buzzer. Check your starter and see if you can see all the connections
