Need ideas for a problem

Just had my interior apart. Polished everything up and was putting it all back in. After installing the dash and gauge cluster I started the car to make sure everything was working. All worked fine.

After installing all the misc. parts (i.e. kick panels, center consul, trim etc.) went to start car and nothing. Looked around and found I had knocked the ingnition plug loose, reattached it and tried to start it. Would crank but wouldnt even try to catch, no instruments that I could tell (fuel gauge seemed to be working though and instument lights), no headlights, no pass. side turn signals with emerg flasher, no turn signals at all with switch. The pfs box appears to be working, radio, windows, mirrors, headlight motors with dash switch, reverse lights, brake lights, parking lights and fuel gauge all seem to be working.

Fuses are all good. All dash connectors appear to be connected firmly. Computer connectors are connected. On CPU No.2 I appear to be missing the 7-pin plug (CPU No.2 is on drivers side foot well behind cruise control module and flasher), do not see the plug in anywhere, not sure it was ever plugged in. Near there is also a loose connector that has 3 female slots, looks just like the clutch swith near the firewall, length of wire keeps it in the area near the bottom of CPU No.2 but I see no where for it to plug into, also not sure if I ever had that plugged in.

All connectors that go into joint box appear to be in good. All connectors by main computer are good.

Seems like it would have to be something I hit while putting in trim peices but I am at a total loss here and extremely frustrated.

If anyone has any input as to places to check or info on the connectors I am missing I would be very appreciative. I've gone over everything I could think of multiple times and just getting a kink in my neck and a headache.

Thanks,
Sam

Update to the problem. Unplegged a conector to the heater blower and the car started right up and ran great. Of course no heater though. Still no headlights, car dies when I try to turn them on, no signals at all. Gauge cluster is now working though.

I'm at a total loss here.

check your alarm and check all of your fuses, even the ones under the hood. if you unpluged your alarm (not a stock alarm) or broke something it wont start at all

Sorry should have mentioned no alarm.

All fuses are good, underhood ones too.

Wow, really surprised at the lack of response.

Double check all your connectors to make sure they are in the right place. Break out the wiring diagrams from the shop manual and with a highlighter start tracking down what could be wrong. Good luck.

Get a volt meter and hook it up to the batter and see if there is a draw on the battery when you plug in the items you unplugged to get the car to start. If so then you might have a short in one of those connections or wires. That might get you on the right track.
