Need help with two wires - under shifter panel and under steering column

I just reinstalled the HVAC in the interior of my car and have two remaining wires that I need help with. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

1) Under the shifter panel is a long purple wire that is tapped into the emergency brake wire. It has a small black connector on it.

2) Under the steering column is a plug with two wires, red and green.
