hey guys I need some advise,,,well I got my car back last week I had a new clutch put in. Car drove fine but two days later m check engine light went on. The car seems to drive fine and the light wasn't coming on before the clutch went out. The light turns off when I turn off the car and goes on after 30 min. or so of driving. What could be wrong??

silicone vaccum lines
apex-i intake
apex-i exhaust
act clutch

 

check your egr (exhaust gas recirculation) hose

this isn't really helping your question, but you said you "just got your car back", from the shop i'm assuming. if just 2 days later you have a check engine light coming on, if i were you, i would take my car back to whatever shop you went too, since that check engine light is most likely the result of something they did. after they diagnose the check engine light, most likely, they will try to make it seem like the check engine light was due to unrelated problem with the clutch install so that they get more money from you. make sure that doesn't happen.

 

EGR I bet. Get a diagnostics and get back to us. Ohh if its the EGR, I hope you drive a 93.
