MA Need help with my factory alarm pleaase!!

Wats up guys.
My factory alarm has been acting up lately and i hope somebody here might guide me in the right direction to get it fixed. I decided to take my car to my girlfriends house tonight so i started it up and let it warm up for a while. But i had to take care of a few more things before i left so i asked my brother in law who was on his way out to shut the car off before he left. He shut the car off and locked it and brought the key inside. Anyways, when i was done and ready to leave the house i inserted the key on the door lock and as soon as i turned it to unlock the door the factory alarm went off. I was kinda shocked and frightened at first and then i quickly popped the hood and unplugged the battery terminal before one of my neighbors came out to drive me nuts! As soon as i unplugged the battery the alarm stopped so i plugged everything back on and started the car up. I thought it was some weird malfunction that could have happened for some odd reason so i just disregarded it and drove away.
I stopped at a friends house to drop off some stuff, got outta the car and locked the door. When i came back out of his house again i inserted the key and turned it and immediately the alarm went off again.. I did not even open the door all it took was for me to turn the key and the alarm went crazy again.
And then this third time again the alarm went off when i was leaving the girls house. Its weird because im not forcing the door open or opening it through the window to set off the alarm. All im doing is turning the key and the thing goes crazy almost instantly.

Now im gonna ask my brother in law tomorrow about wat he did when he locked the car but im afraid it wont really have to do with anything. Ive tried sticking the key in the ignition to see if it would stop and i tried closing the doors and locking it again to see if it would do anything and nothing worked. The only thing i did that would shut the thing up was to unplug the battery and reconnect it after.

If anyone has been through a similar issue and have a solution or if anyone has a solution please let me know. I appreciate it guys.

There is a sensor on your key cylinder that verifies when the door has been unlocked properly with a key to disarm the alarm system. It sounds like either the sensor, wiring or the CPU #2 (stock alarm) has gone bad. You can access the key cylinder fairly easily. Pop the plastic cover off the back of the door handle, remove two nuts and then pull the door handle assembly straight out. Check to see if the sensor is attached properly and also check it for continuity if you have a multimeter. Look in the wiring diagram and you can also trace the wire from the sensor to the CPU #2 to make sure it has continuity.

alright so i found out what it was! took me less than 30 seconds to get it back to normal actually. :P
So because my brother in law had locked the door by pushing the little lock lever down i figured it would be something to do with that. So i opened the passenger door with the key, inserted the key on the ignition and turned it on. Then i lifted the lock pin on the driver's side door manually. Turned the car off got out shut the door and locked it from the outside on the driver's side with the key. Then i turned the key to get it open and voila!! the alarm didnt go off.
Go figure... Anyways im just glad it was an easy quick fix.
Thanks again guys
