Need help ID'ing an air hose...
Hello-
I pulled my stock airbox out today, and found a pipe that's going to nowhere! It's the one on the driver's side of the airbox, about 1" or so around. Here's the hoses I do know about:
- 2 big ones to the turbos
- 2 smaller ones to BOV and CRV
- 1 smaller one to the airpump
- 1 smaller one to the air control valve (the line that runs next to the outlet of the airpump near the passenger's side of the UIM)
What's missing?
Thanks in advance for the help!
Take care,
Shad

Hello-
Oh... so it's SUPPOSED to be connected to nothing... gee I feel smart :-).
After getting your replies, I took a closer look inside the airbox. The air control valve's line and that vent go together, so it isn't letting dirty air into the turbo intakes or anything. If I had to guess, maybe Mazda put that chamber in there to make the air control valve quieter? <shrug>
Thanks for the replies, guys!
