Question Need Help Identifying Parts under the hood

Please go to the link below and help me identify the parts.

The hose seems to be going from the intake manifold and just goes towards the radiator and is completely open to the atmosphere. is this right? what is it's function?

Also i'm just curious as to what that black box is and if i could get rid of it if i just connect the two vaccum lines together that are there. Thanks.

Alright, the hose is the exhaust for the airpump. You can get rid of it, but if you do you will hear this splendid mooing noise that will make you appreciate the hose. The black box is the pressure chamber. It supplies boost pressure to the turbo control solenoid and turbo control actuator. If you got rid of it then when you shifted the turbos would go back to sequential mode until you made 7 psi again. Hope that helps.
