Ok guys here my situation. I'm am fitting a FD upper intake manifold to my TII lower intake manifold for use on my TII. I'm going to be fitting these together with the use a of a spacer, no problem there. I have been trying to identify what part is attached to the FD manifold besides the bacv. The one in question looks very similar to the bacv, has mitsubishi symbol on it and what appears to be hard coolant line that bolts up right next to it. If I could get an identity for this part it would help me greatly. Thanks in advance!

Sounds like the AWS. The accelerated warmup system is a huge pile of dung, and should be blocked off.
