I searched on this but just came up with a bunch of boost troubleshooting threads.

Out of a year and a half my FD has had only 2 problems, first it blew the coolant bypass hose, and a couple days ago it blew the coolant hose between the waterpump and the turbos. To get the job right I had to take the airpump off, and as I was reinstalling it, I tapped the "Wastegate Control & Turbo Precontrol Solenoids" and the attached hose cracked and took one of the sels with it I can't find a part number for the sels. I have a PFC, I read somewhere I don't even need these anymore, is this true? If I do need them, whats the part number, I can't find these in the mazda catalogue anywhere!

Also curious If I should just go for a silicon hose job now while I have alot of the clutter out of the engine bay, the other hoses are brittle at best, some look like a smooth breeze would destroy them....but the car has been boosting fine.

There is one other lesser part I cant find...




This piece but for the drivers side of the car, its driving me nuts!

Any help with anything is appreciated, I'm lucky to be able to use my sisters trecel as a beater, but I need this fixed ASAP!

Its a really small piece, I thought I found it in the catalogue and I ordered but got a different part Its one of those things only I would ever notice but It drives me insane.

But you can get a used set pretty cheaply.

If you're running a pfc it will still use these solenoids for boost control. You will not need them if you have a manual or electronic boost controller on both the precontrol and wastegate. (And the precontrol is not used in a nonsequential setup).

I thought maybe he was referring to the "pills" in the lines attached to the actuators? bad guess?
