Need some help? My engine has been cutting out betweek 2000 and 3000 rpms so i bought some sparkplug wires. I put them on today and tried to restart the car. It backfired really loud and started but would stumble a little and then start surging from 1000 - 2000 rpms. It has a check engine light on???

 

so why wouldnt you pull the code, and go from there. If you dont know how to do that i know theres a buncha threads explaining the procedure
