Can anybody help me with my problem?

Ok, sometimes my car would run fine, other times it idles real low and sputters. when it does that and i give it some gas, rpms wont go past 3500. it does that when ever it feels like it.

Next, sometimes my car blows a blueish color of smoke at idle. Also when ever i get on it and shift at about 6500, give or take a few rpms, ALOT of smoke (same color) shoots out the exhaust.

Is there anybody out there who can tell me whats wrong with my baby. I would greatly appreciate it.

 

Can you post more about what is done to your car?

engine miles, .. major maintenance items.. reliability mods.. turbo age (and what kind!) etc

well, im in Japan right now in the army, so its a right hand drive. the only mods on it is a boost controller:Profec B-spec II, and a trust(greddy) catback. its got about 113000 kilometers which is only a little over 70000 miles. Its a 93 and turbos are stock .

with my idle problem i was thinkin that it could be my TPS, but thats just a guess, and the smoke...i was thinkin the turbos could be goin bad. But the reason i would like some help is so i dont do something that i dont need to and waste money, ya know.

could be the map sensor or tps.

could be the turbo oil seals going out

 

hey thanx bryant ive been wantin to change my turbo out and go single so now that gives me a reason to. Also ima try and find both a tps and map sensor which shuldnt be too hard since im in japan right now. if u have anything else that could help just hit me up. i appreciate it, thanx again
