Need help

Well there are a couple of things that i am having problems with on the car.

The mods that i have are apexi front mount, fluidine rad, hard pipes, full exhaust, street port and unsequential set up.

So i guess i will start with a few problems that i am running into.

First off i have a electronic boost controler (profec b type s) and i have the settings on the lowest boost they can go and also the gain is set to sharp. I want to run right off of the waste gate right now until i solve some of the boost creep problems that i am having. Thought that this would help, but it did not. It will hit 7 psi and hold for a little bit and then higher rpm''s which is expected it creeps to 12. I am still on the base map so i know that cant be good. Even though i have heard that the base map for the power fc is ok to around then. So, until i get bigger injectors, what have some of you guys done to slow down this boost creep issue?

Now on to the next problem....

I dont know if this problem is due to the fact that i need a new knock sensor or some other things. But when i am normally driving down the road i will at some points of accelerating without hitting boost knock up to 80 on the power fc....

I have heard that it could be because things like my intercooler and stuff like that are tranmitting road noise through the pipes and to the motor, but i was wondering if anyone had any experience with anything like this before. It is killing me cause part of me tunning the car is knowing how much knock it is putting out. And this can not be right....

And final issue is......

When i get low on coolant, like when i pulled the radiator out today. The lower coolant light does not go off. If they are bad to they just not work at all. I would have thought that they would default to going off if they went bad. But this one seems to be not doing anything.... Need to know if it is just dirty and things that ist is grounded or if it is bad for sure.

Thanks.

The coolant buzzer should default to buzzing - the sensor grounds out in the coolant, and the ground is what shuts up the buzzing. The wire may be grounded somewhere it shouldn't be.

I'm surprised you're getting that much creep, even with a ported wastegate. Double-check there's no small leaks in the wastegate hose. Seems like it's hooked up right when I saw it last.

We might have to try swapping in another knock sensor and see what that does. I'd also like to drive your car again and see if it still feels like you're getting a lot of drivetrain vibration to the body.

I do not know much about what to do for your boost creep, you may have a leak somewhere causing it to creep. My FD boosts at 1bar or 14psi on stock twins and pfc.

About the knocking, I know that FD's do generate some road noise and vibration which the PFC can read as knocking but I think there are tolerences for that, use the search and have a look for some of the threads.

As for your water light, does it not come on at all when no water in the car? does it buzz its head off? have you checked the connection of the water level sensor, is it plugged in or damaged? has the light blown in the dash?

That is all.

Thanks dale again haha.

And yea, i have checked the connection to make sure that everything looked good, and also the light in the dash and also the buzzer are ok cause they worked not to long ago. And the light still comes on when i turn the key on engine off.

What are some places that the wire could be grounded out that i can check for.... really dont want to over heat the car.
