need help

ok i just got my boost gauge, and it only shows that my car is boosting at 6psi, i know thats now normal, what could the problem be

the shop that just put in my new motor, i noticed today that there are 2 places where 2 vacumm lines should be connected, is that the reason why my 2nd turbo wont kick on sometimes

when a/c is on the car will die sometimes at idle, but if im goin and take my car out of gear, and just let the car idle go down the car will always die, does that mean i need a new alternator, i checked the a/c already and it has the right amount of freeon in it so i know its not overcharged

i also got a greddy intake elbow with a greddy bov on it, now that its hooked up, what is the purpose of the old stock ones, can i take them off and just run 2 new hoses, or should i just keep them on there

thanks for any help

Hey where did you get you engine installed at. You might want to talk the Houston Rx7 club. One of the guys named Marcus owns a shop called Rotary SC and he could be able to tell you what the problem is. Check it out at www.houston-rx7.net To get a hold of him look for the email address.

Another option would be to take it over to Rotary Performance (rx7.com) in Garland. Have heard a lot of good things about them.

my car used to die when the a/c was on or with other load. i thought it was an alternator problem too. once on a highway the car lost all power and refused to even crank when i turned the key in the ignition.

later on after 3 hours of aggravation, and when my car got towed to a gas station, and it got jumped back to life, i noticed an error code in the ecu memory.

its easy to check for error codes in the memory. just do a search on the internet and you will find out. if not, then ask me and i can tell you (just PM me).

it turns out that my waterthermo sensor was malfunctioning. so i replaced it. the alternator is fine (i checked the voltage/resistance and it was perfect).

anyways, to answer your question about missing vacuum lines. where exactly are these missing lines located? on my car i know two nipples dont have a vacuum line on them (and its okay).
