Ok, i've done some searching up here...my problem is my boost feels like it completely drops off at 4500 rpms...i just got my car so i haven't gotten a boost guage yet to get actual readings...will be getting one very shortly...anyway, from reading different posts up here i figure i need to check the charge control and crv...but i need to know exactly how to get to these 2 things and what i need to do to check...or maybe you have ny other advice on why my boost dies at 4500 rpms

Do you have the service manual? I hear you can download it from someplace.

You have a boost leak and are getting no secondary turbo. The secondary turbo comes on line at 4500 rpm. You'll have to just start checking hoses. Make sure to check the hose that comes off the top of the "y" pipe and goes to the charge relief valve. Other than that it's like I said your gonna hace to check the vacum hoses. I would also suggest switching to silicone vacum hoses if you haven't already.

workshop manual can be downloaded here www.iluvmyrx7.com

Yup. Its almost certainly a hose-related issue. Get a silicon tie-wrap, and a boost guge pronto.
