Need Apex'i dual N-1 sound clip

I'm looking into buying this exhaust but would like to hear some clips with one installed on a FD. I searched but only came up with some running off an FC. Thanks

go outside and yell WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!! as loud as you can. Thats the n1-dual.

if you want obnoxious bumper melting exhaust cans...thats the set to get.

I sold my n1 and picked up the greddy titanium...HUGE improvement.

I don't think it's that bad at all, definitely not that obnoxious, but in certain parking garages however, I can set off car alarms! I've had mine for over 3 years and I like the way it sounds. I have a DP and the N1 duals. I've had quite a few people say they like the way my exhaust sounds. Others might not like it but no one has ever come up to me and said"hey man your exhaust sounds like ****!". Now maybe some people might have thought that but I could care less.

I could use my digital camera to do a video with sound, but the sound quality might not be that great. But if you want I'll record a clip with it. Send me a PM with your email and I'll send you a clip. I should be able to do it tonight.

Rob.

I don't think it sounds that bad - it IS loud, especially if you have a midpipe. My big beef is it just doesn't fit right and WILL melt the black plastic at the bottom of your bumper. You end up with a $400 exhaust that looks like Mr. Crappy Muffler Shop hacked on your car.

I don't think it looks that bad. Plus I have dremaled away some of the black plastic to make it fit better. But it does still hit and has melted some of it. From the pic you can see that the area where I dremaled is now split. No big deal.
Damn loud with a DP, Mid pipe ported motor and these.

Edit: sorry no sound clip yet.

It was fine when I had my stock cat with the N1 dual.. But with MP.. wow.. loud.. obnoxious.. and scared everytime I passed a cop. I ended up getting couple of silencers to tone it down..

here we go:

here are the apexi N1 duals WITH the silencers:

here are the apexi N1 duals WITHOUT the silencers:

This isn't my car, so i cant really answer any questions on the exhaust, but i'm sure others can. Also, I've been told these sound nothing like the duals in person, but these are the only clips i can find so bear with them. Anyways, I hope these help.

Of all the dual tip CB I love the low profile (less likely to catch on a curb if ur backing up the FD) and slight upward angle appearance.

those n1's without the silencers sound like a group of pigs fighting over food. so yea.. i don't like em, i do like the Greddy Evo II i have tho, it sounds smooth, you don't really 'hear' it, it's more of a deep bubbly bass. i can't really explain but i'm sure someone knows what i'm talking about.

LMAO!!! I cant believe you just supported a product that did that to the back of your car. lol.

anyone who says "i got it...it doesnt sound THAT BAD" is funny....why not get an exhaust that sounds "THAT GOOD" instead. the n1 dual isnt cheap. It is just has bad fitment and sounds at best "not good".

thanks for the pic.

well compared to that clip... i like mine better, yours didn't sound like that though, i liked how yours made that brap brap brap noise. at least it was consistent in sound unlike your idle, haha, i hope that clears up for you soon though, and thanks for spottin that leak, i'm boostin a little better now.

Thanks for the clip. I was a little busy last night with it being Valentines and married had to do my duties and could not get back to the forums.

I might have to reconsider my purchase on this exhaust, I'm looking for something with a deeper tone. Does the HKS carbon fiber titanium tip exhaust sound deeper?
