Napol Performance headlight top covers - Carbon fiber question

Does anyone have a picture of these on a car or could let me know if they are a direct oem replacement or if they are some cheap stick on the oem unit.

Long story short, I didnt want to get in to the CF game on this car but I found a set for 100 bucks and my driver side oem cover is broken in about 3 pieces because the housing moved and when the light flipped up it broke the back half of the cover off.

just looking for a cheap, matching replacement is all.

Get a stock cover from Mazda and have it color matched. Matter of fact, get both sides. The unbroken one is probably not far behind.

While I understand, the car is black and needs a paint job. I am just looking for something temporary but obviously if I have a broken cover I cant attach anything too it. I just would like to know if this has all the same oem mounting spots. I really dont want to get into color match to a car thats a little rough around the edges. At least not at this point.

Spend once, cry once. Do it right the first time. Pay a little more for OEM ones. Since you are spending 100 bux already might as well wait and save up a little more for OEM ones that you know will fit.

I've played that game with the other car in my garage. This isn't a question of me being cheap, this project is not a restoration. Its just a simple question, does anyone know if these covers have the same mounting tabs as oem or do they piggy back the oem covers?

I am not questioning the worth of stock covers or quality of china knock offs, but this car is high mileage and is getting love in different areas. I dont want to spend big bucks on this item, hell ill even glue the stock ones that cracks backed together... I do appreciate the sage advice.

I’ve fixed my old headlight covers with epoxy and fiberglass tape. I had the broken piece though.

I’ve seen guys reinforce their new covers with a similar method as well.

The OEM covers aren't that expensive. Most of the aftermarket covers fit like crap too.

I'd get OEM covers and do a rattle can paint job on them. Put a clear on there and they will look OK until you can get a proper paint job. The CF covers will just be junk you'll throw away in the near future.

BTW OEM covers are about $80 each, they aren't too expensive.

all the aftermarket ones ive seen have basic protruding mounting tabs.... they are literally tabs. flat pieces that just stick out from the panel. they dont last very long and arent very strong. regardless of the reason, buying OEM is the better option.... unless the ones youre getting are free, which they arent lol
