So the exhaust needs a intercooler, so you can "comfortably" put your hand in front of the tail pipe?????

My pet peeve? How I keep dumping money into it & feel good about it.
If it was a Hyundai I would have dumped the POS years ago.

It was not properly engineered to deal with heat. They skimped on the radiator and the intercooler.

One thing that I hate is that rx7 is an "old sports car". Many problems and more to come by.

That is so true. And i HATE how i forget about it every single time....

I hate the Bose System. All Of it.
I hate the Door handles....I am so tired of crawling in through the passenger side...to open my door.
I hate the fact that the Cars Have Issues with getting hot.....But yet the Heater doesnt work worth a damn...
I hate how i accidently kick my door every time i get out of the car.
I hate The Steering wheel.

But most of all....I hate the fact that i love my car enough to overlook all the things i Hate about it......

1) my heater doesn't work (at all)
2) no cupholders
3) money pit
4) 93 crappy *** interior
5) letting it idle down before i turn off the car (my friends bust my *** about "waiting to let the turbos cool down")

That's pretty much the car. Then there's other things that are not about the car exactly. My girlfriend loved my Civic but absolutely hates the seven (it stinks, it's uncomfortable, there's not enough room, i miss your sound system, etc.). I also hate how people come up too me talking about how i should buy their NOS system and put it in my car . . . .

What i love most about the car is that there are a bunch of really cool Rx7 owners who i've had the pleasure of meeting. When you hear someone talk about it and know what they're talking about it's kinda cool. I have a fan club of kids who'll drive by my house and take pictures or point out to their friends that i have a rx7. I love my car but it is a pain in the ***

Nothing, it is absolutely perfect. Nothing in this world can come close to the near perfection the rx-7 is.

Needing slam the driver's door at least twice, at maximum pull, to get it to shut. Of course, if you crack the window open just a touch, it's fine. All of this suggests that it's pretty airtight.

It's really hard to complain about this car. It's now over 10 years old, and it is still a very comtemporary performance car. And testament to a really well styled car, it still looks great.

1) brake rotors too thin for tracking the car.
2) secondary turbo transition. The "8" in 10-8-10 can really upset the car when powering through a turn. I know, go non sequential blah blah blah
3) large steering wheel makes footwork difficult
4) cooling issues ugh.

The only thing I dislike are the lights...

Other then that I've invested allot; but what I've gained in return from doing all the work myself is way more! I like learning.... so this car suits me.

Can't complain too much... but the cupholders comments I think are funny.. its a sports car. You want cup holders buy a honda or something like a towncar. =)
