Part number mentioned earlier still does not show as valid anywhere. Would be great to get some complete information on this, rather than cryptic bits and pieces..

I had this in my amazon cart for months just went to order it and noticed it is unavailable. My TPS is showing signs of failure. I wrote Wells to inquire if they can run another batch and linked them to this thread. we'll see if anything comes of it. What are the chances of us rebuilding a TPS? Can we gut it and replace components?

the new Mazda one? its active in Japan. it is not active in Mazda USA's system, and until it does you're not going to see it listed anywhere.

you are probably not going to like the price either, $398.30 today

Thanks for the info. I did not see it on Amayama's site using N3Y3-13-SLO, where do you see availability?

Agree on the price! Hopefully this comes down some.

its a Zero, n3y3-13-SL0 and not n3y3-13-SLo

there are exceptions, but parts professionals do not use o, q, s and i in part numbers as they are too easy to confuse with letters. Mazda even shies away from B.

Makes sense, thanks for the correction. I should have tried the substitution myself.

Well very pricey indeed, but at least a solution. Hopefully the cost comes down to closer to what the old sensor was priced at.

Seems to say that the later TPS's (maybe 96+ or 99+?) are not plug in compatible with the 93-95 TPS. Dude is making an adapter harness to plug it in.

Anyone understand what he is doing with the EcoCPU?

Apparently this KL0118911 variant looks exactly like the N3A1-18-911 FD3S TPS, positioning and all!

Picked it up used for 25 bucks shipped with pigtail too.

KL0118911 TPS

FD3S TPS

Neat! That may be from the MX-6 or something. Do you know what car it came from?

EDIT - answered my own question -

"Fits 626, Millenia, MPV, MX-3, MX-6"

Looks like about $180 or so for the part new.

I will let you know once I get it, just bought it today lol. I hope it works! Not the end of the world if it doesn't, I'll just use the other variant (not the same, but can still be calibrated in haltech)

This is what the seller had listed: "REMOVED FROM MX-6 IN GOOD WORKING ORDER." Sent message to seller to get the exact year.

I bought the TPS from Race Only. I think it's going to take a few weeks to get here though

Adjust it like a OEM TPS and give up the two low voltages and the two high voltages and if the engine runs normally.

Thomas,

What are the results? You should have received it by now and have installed it.

On Oct. 31, I ordered an ARD alternator from RHD-Japan. It arrived in on 11 Nov. and I installed it on the 12th.

So, I did purchase one, however in that time I realized the one on my car want actually bad, it turned out to be the wax rid wasn't completely removed and was giving me a high idle randomly. Also then my motor popped and needs a rebuild.
i will take pics when I get back home however that won't be for about a week... It's larger than the factory one and looks harder to install, but apparently it's a new denso unit, from what car, I have no idea.
