The sound is excellent.

Mind my girls voice over, she gets a little nervous when i drive fast and tends to have a need to talk.

Your vid was really cool to see with the right hand drive car and driving on the opposite side of the road. I kept feeling like I should be changing lanes.

Tell me. Where did you find all that MB storage to use? I wouldn't mind posting a video or two if I had the space somewhere.

Also any hints to converting Quicktime to Windows viewer?

The server I hosted that on is my own. I run a web development/hosting company! Our link is arguably the best in Australia.

There is a heap of utilities out there for encoding video's. Try searching around on www.vcdhelp.com even

hmmm..i have t1 line here and once video is dl'ed it doesnt stream...why not?

 

You may need the right codec to play it.

Its been encoded in MPEG-2 (PAL not NTSC). I suggest you upgrade your pc's codec.

i dont want to get into too much shop talk about it, so just upgrade your media player from windows update site.

 

I have a couple of Nikon digital cameras which produce the short Quicktime videos of about a minute. The resolution is 320x240 if this give an idea of their MB, but if my memory serves me correctly they seem to be about 12MB or so if the full minute.

I have no problem paying for space on the internet if it's reasonably priced and has efficient bandwidth, but the sites I've found are either slow and free or way to much money for little chunks of space which only one of my videos would fill. I'm sure there are much better options than what I've found though.

 

yeah, free services are about as good as getting food from a homeless van.

all our plans are 1gb of webspace.

sweet video but next time get one of your buds to take the camera because girls are a pain in the *** when it comes to accelerating. Always bitching, I hate it! No matter how many times you explain to them that you have it under control and it's really not that fast and that nothing can happen they still have the same reactione every time you slam the pedal down. I woulda thrown her out! haha

nice car and girl but she is a bit whiny (the girl, not the car hehe). How fast were you going? It seemed like that you were going like 20mph down those wide roads...

it seems slow, where in fact i was getting up to 140km/h on some of the straights.

maybe its the way the carema was held where you cant see anything close to judge speed with..

That was just a test anyways, now that i know it works well and people are interested in them, i'll contunie to do more.

yo man that is nothing.. i was riding with my girl once.. in her Dad's RUF tuned Porsche.... she was doing 150 in traffic cutting thru traffic like she owned the street in Miami, none the less... yo.. i was too scarred to open my eyes. after i saw a CAr jump in front of us. and she threw her self in the other lane i almost fainted. btw we were late to her parents 20th anniversary... wow i was scarred that day.. i had to change my underware. :O
