My VR FD looks like a Submarine

Went from taking out the motor to this...

Motor went due to oil starvation... What sealed the oil pan to the motor was inside the oil pan. Maybe it clogged the pick up. I always checked the oil so this really has me scratching my head.

This is my 3rd RX7, I am 19. I don't have the money to pay someone else to do all this stuff so I figured would try and do it myself. It's really not that bad I took my time labeling all the bolts and taking everything apart.

I will be buying a Greddy 3row FMIC since I can't seem to find anything else out there that will do as well in keeping the airflow from a R85 cool.

Thinking of going with dual oil coolers... yes its a touring

Ordered a ACT 6 Puck sprung clutch from RX7store

Ordered a ACT Prolite Flywheel and counterweight from XxMerlinxX, Said he was going to ship it out Friday so I hope it will be here by Wensday so I can bring JPR imports this stuff for the build.

It's my first time doing this, JPR Imports in blackwood NJ is building my motor. I have been doing business with him since 2 weeks after I got my license when I had a 10AE.

I Have sprayed everything down with carb cleaner and WD40. Just ripped off my A/c condensor. Car never liked to idle with it on and I never had a car with A/c so I can live without it. Was going to remove all the PS lines but reinstall of that should be simple. I like it in tight spaces also, my FC has a manual rack and parking isnt much fun.

Anyone have any info on fabricating a front mount? Something to support a R85. I am just wondering, Greddy kit is 1400$ would like to try and save some money by fabricating one myself, but if it's to much of a hassle I will just go with the Greddy 3row.

I also would like to replace my motor mounts since my motor is out. Anyone know where I can purchase them?

Steal your brothers stuff, sell it, profit and buy yourself a brand new turbo and maybe a nice set of wheels?

Its taken care of, I'm getting a R85 turbo when my motor is done. Just need to find me some motor mounts and figure what i'm doing about cooling that R85 down.
