I imagine its a ground, but can anyone confirm? Where is it supposed to ground to? What does it ground?

It is wrapped in the same harness as the 02 sensor wire (pic is behind UIM) and its 2 wires crimped to an eyelet connector

 

Yes that is a ground . Use the bolt that holds the 02 connector to the UIM ,( pass side rear)

 

that one looks like it is under the uim.... the other end of that gets bolted to the back side of the umi. that one should be bolted to the block where the rats nest get secured to the engine. hope that helped.


if you don't want to take off the umi then just find a spot to bolt it to on the block..

I have that grounded to the UIM via the bolt that holds the engine hoist hook on.
