My stock gauges went out
I had my Water Temp gauge linearized last year. It seems the extra long wire I had tucked away, wrapped itself around my steering shaft and snapped.
I cleaned up the wire and re-attached it, but my Water Temp and Oil Pressure stock gauges are still not working.
Before I jack up the car and check the oil pressure sending unit, is there anything else I should check?

Maybe take a look at the resistor used with the linearization mod attached inline between the dash pot and the thermistor, make sure it isn't fried; might want to look at the dash pot, too. Otherwise, hate to think that you might've fried something on the circuit board that the dash works from, as the oil pressure and coolant temp gauges work off the same board...
In fact, all the gauges are integrated onto the same circuit board. All the gauges share a common grnd, so you know that's not your problem. All the gauges also share common pwr, so that's not it. Each gauge has an independent signal wire, so it's a bit odd to lose those two gauges at the same time. It unfortunately sounds like something got fried. For your sake I hope it's not the circuit board.
If it turns out to be, and you need a new gauge cluster, you can PM me. I have the one I just took off of my car I need to sell.
