That is exactly what happens. High pressure combustion gasses leak into the coolant system through a bad coolant o-ring and over-pressurize the coolant system like a two liter bottle of coke that's been in a paint shaker. The over pressurized coolant will take the path of least resistance which is the overflow tank if you don't have coolant leaks elsewhere.

I thought it might be something else.. But final result was blown seals.. And I've also considered the turbo thing.. but seeing one over flow and another didnt, tells me that its most likely its my seals..
My guess was that the pressure created by the combustion leaks into the coolant system and starts to expand the liquid... hence the over flow.
