ITs actually a borg warner turbo. model s400s. it is the same compressor side as the gt42r (76mm) but the exhaust side on the s400s is larger.

Ern, can I quote you on that? If you're going to be there, I'll definitely be there. Need to meet you and check out your car after all this time

Coils, I will walk in front of your car and sweep any salt/rocks, so we can get you to JPR. :smiley_12

Well that is a rather large snail. I'll have to hit up a meet sometime and check out all the nice cars. (I don't know why I'm in the 3rd gen section lol.)

The S400s do not use any Garrett compressor wheels. They are made by Borg Warner. I would guess that you are using a S475. (S400 frame, 75mm inducer compressor wheel.)

Borg Warner S400s have 71, 75, 78, & 80 mm inducer compressor wheels. The S turbos have Extended Tip Technology which helps with a quicker spool and moves more air at higher pressure ratios.

he never said, it used a garrett wheel. he means to say that the s400 is similar to the gt42 compressor but with a much larger hotside. not all s turbos have ett, only the new ones. i've had a bunch of the older ones without it.

I was not going off of what he "means" I was going off what he said. I just wanted to clairify. This is not the first time someone has said this.

My ride in a 520whp- 9 sec. FB sounds very similar.....except for the amount of torque. Mazda's next Rx7 needs a 20B. Then life would be too complete.
