Thanks,

The headliner is basically just snapped to the roof. Of course you have to pull the visors and lights off first and pull the door weather stripping off and a little bit around the hatch area. It then pretty much just snaps off. Just becareful and take your time. You may need a long plug puller to get to some of the snaps. I think all of the snaps were in the back of the headliner, hatch side. Good luck.

I was thinking the same thing, not about having my car as the featured car but a 3rd gen rather.
But hey, if you guys can get my car up there that would be cool. Thanks again for all the comments. I will get some better pics of the car as soon as I get it out for its maiden voyage with the new motor work. The weather here in Minnesota is just starting to turn for the better.

April 30th thru May 2nd.. Indy, IN.. Goto the RR section of the forum..
Rotary Revolution 2004

I believe there are few caravans.. probably biggest one will be from Chicago down to INDY..

It will be the biggest event outside of Cali.. over 200 cars are expected.

If I'm coming from "deep south", you could definitely make it.. it should be around what 6 hour drive??

Hope you could make it..

That's not bad at all, it took over 3 months to get mine back! Car looks awesome, hopefully you'll make it to the revolution and I can see it in person.

Yes sir, the green one was mine. Is Ben still overseas? I have not heard from him in a while.. Cool pic by the way...I was going to stop and see him with this car at the end of April on my way back from having the car tuned, if he is home.

Anybody can spray paint a car but, as Donny probably can tell you, it's the amount of effort put into prepping the body that is the difference between a good paint job and a terrific one. In a true '$3000' paint job, the cost of supplies ( paint, etc) is a fraction of the labor cost for prepping that goes into it.

Another myth is that more coats of either paint or clear makes for a better job. In fact, too many layers can be worse then too little (harder to fix, if a problem developes you have to strip it all off and start over again). The best analogy I can think of is a woman that puts on too much makeup - it can start to crack, etc. How good the final finish is a direct result of how much effort is put into what's underneath.

Nice job donny.

Well guys, I did finish my motor a couple of weeks ago and did get to drive the car a whole 50 miles or so before I figured out I have a bad 0-ring seal. I thought I might have had a bad seal last fall before I pulled the motor, but it was diagnosed as being fine. Anyway, the new 99 twins are awesome but now that I have to pull the motor AGAIN, I am going to sell the twins and go single. it will make the process of replacing the motor again much simpler. Anybody want to buy a brand new set of 99 twins with only 50 miles on them?
This really sucks, I was pumped to start driving the beast again.

I dont recall off hand, but just guessing, I would have to say it was just over 1k. I just recently bought the 99 re-bar. I had modded my original one, but if you want the 99 fog lights you must have the 99 re-bar to mount them properly and with ease.
