my project

well it all started 3 years ago when i bought a white 1994 5spd with 32K miles, completely stock and always garaged.

i started by keeping up with maintenance and with some reliability mods: vac lines, AST, fluidyne radiator, boost gauge, and bonez downpipe.
since then i added the greddy intake, efini y-pipe, bonez high flow cat, and RB catback.
i converted to full non-seq and added the power fc, boost controller, and tuned @13psi.
most recently i put in an ACT flywheel, bonez street clutch, and b&m shifter

im amazed at how much different these modifications made when done right, it really shows off how well the 3 gen's were designed, and how much further the car can go.

i wanted to share my story because i was very reluctant to get the rx7, as i had been a huge nissan Z enthusiast, ending up with a heavily modified 300Z, and many people told me the rx7 just couldnt be made reliable. i drive the car everyday, get awesome gas mileage, and have never had any problems with the rx7 at all. i have proven many local people wrong, and now some are even rotary owners. i owe a lot of credit to this forum and its members for my success.

i havent had time to get to the track or a dyno lately, does anyone have any idea on what kind of 1/4 mile, 0-60 time, and hp i could expect. (i know each car is different and its all about the driver)

ill try to post pics soon

Around 230rwhp (Rear Wheel Horse Power) is my guess. Could be more or less.

raziel....i was thinking around 275RWHP for a conservative estimate, especially after going over all the dyno sheets in the 3rd gen forum. i wouldnt think that would be too far off

230? lol
I have about the same mods and on a very shitty tune timing wise I put down 260/230 on a mustang dyno, that's about 290 on a dyno-jet dyno, the primary difference between our cars is I have a Greddy FMIC. Depending on your tune you could be seeing as high as 325, but 275 is probably a safe bet depending on how advanced your timing is. Have you rewired the fuel pump? I got the timing advanced and had to turn boost down because I was running out of fuel and pushing the motor at 13 psi. I plan on going walbro, 4x850s, rewire, and turning the boost back up. The timing map I have produced 380 at 15 psi on a street ported REW on the stock twins.
