I just got these in the mail from my coater/polisher, I think they came out like a million bucks. He polished the entire caliper---front, back, sides
The last pic is a little dark, but you get the idea. If anybody is interested in having something similar done, shoot me a PM!

If you don't mind, what did you pay to have this done? I was thinking of polishing my calipers as well but they are already painted and I'm to lazy to do it, I bet it would look fantastic with stock chrome rims. Did you get front and rear calipers done?
Hey Rich, I've been meaning to PM you in regards to the Ceramachroming you've had done on some of your parts. Would you be able to do the same thing for me on some of my parts? I'm very interested. Thanks!
Oh, and the calipers look awesome! They wouldn't work for my setup, but damn thas some bling

Once I verify the price I'll PM it to ya
Good looking calipers, I bet your FD will not stop as fast.
We used to plate Corvette calipers until we found out the car, a GT-1 Corvette race car would not brake as well. The coating/plating would hold heat in and boil the fluid at a lower temperature. The calipers were cast iron and the brake system performed best if we left them "in the brown".

These calipers have been polished down to the bare aluminum, so I don't think that'll be an issue. I've actually been running polished calipers since 2001, here is a pic:

I had this new pair polished b/c they were fresh rebuilds. I'm going to have my existing calipers (the ones pictured) for sale soon. Difference being, the ones on the car only have the faces polished. Oh, and cleaning them isn't bad at all. I'm able to get through the spokes with some metal polish with the rims on to give them a cursory cleaning, to really shine them up I just remove the wheels
Rich, what are you doing getting things polished? You're normally a "coat it" guy. They look awsome! I have an extra set and will have to do this when I get some down time at work.
Hey Goodfella. . . how much do you think your guy would charge to polish my UIM? PM me if you find out. I can't find anybody in Sebring that does this kind of work and will have to ship it out.
