Looks nice What color are you going on the irons? Or is that the final finish?
Also, Isn't your oil filler flange on backwards? Will the filler neck bolt on? I just looked at all the engines I have here and they are all the other direction.
Maybe the picture is reversed or something Just wondering!
One of the remans That just showed up had shipping damage. ( To the filler flange and the oil dipstick tube) Ray said they were replacable and just pressed in. Curious if you had them removed for any reason?

well it ran me about $100 for all the polishing and paint and stuff. Not too bad and you can see it more when you go single and get the rats nest out of the way. I went non-seq with simplification mod so you can see a lot more than you think. You'll be able to see it at SS7, that's what its gettin prepped for . I had them polish the altenator and did a large streetport to the motor too. Now to get the UIM polished .

The UIM on my FD is polished and have seen one that was chromed. It makes the polished Aluminum on mine look shabby. will most likely send the UIM on my car out to be chromed in the future. It looks so much better.

Is the rear rotor housing on your engine newer than the front one? I had an engine with 2 new housings and they both had the threaded hole above the trailing spark plug hole. Your engine has the hole only on the rear housing above the trailing plug hole.... I do not remember exactly.. But isn't that the mounting point for the stock Knock sensor?

Do not get me wrong.. It looks awsome. I just think a chromed UIM looks better than my polished UIM. It looks about twice as reflective as mine if not more. If you have the time I recommend it.

BTW - I thought about polishing my housings at one time but since it would be so hard to keep them clean and keep the dirt off I just decided not to mess with it. I think next time I pull my engine I'm going to paint everything black except the lim, uim. tb, IC pipes, water pump, alt....everything else including the actual engine will be black. That'll make all the pretty stuff stand out and all the other junk fade away in the background
