is my motor dead

so heres the story, this past weekend i had been having trouble starting my car, it would just turn over for a while and after a couple of attempts it would stumble to life. then on sunday it left me stranded in a parking lot, i changed the plugs and when i took them out i noticed they were wet, i figured flooded. but it fired right up withe the new plugs. monday it started fine but when i went out to start it about lunch time it was hard to start again. i drove to where a friend works at rp motorsports and hung out there for a while, when i went to leave i could not get it to start, it would just turn over, kinda act like it wanted to for a few seconds but wouldnt start. finnally after letting it sit for another hour, it barley stumbled to life. but as it did it was backfireing and smoking like all hell. just pure white smoke pouring out the tailpipe, and it reaked if coolant, ther was little drops of water coming out my tailpipe also, once it ran for a few minutes it ran decent enough to get me home. so what i think has been happening is it was water flooding it out instead of fuel the whole time. i am afraid i blew a coolant seal. i havnt driven it since, what do you guys think, oh yea and it was low on coolant when i got home, thanks for any advice, scott

How?

1. Hard to start
2. Exhaust shooting out lots of smoke that smells like coolant

Those two things usually mean the car overheated and the coolant seals are gone...

Look in your coolant flow for air bubbles. if you smell fuel its flooded if you smell coolant its coolant seal.
